Intro to coding with Scratch (Gr. 1-3)

What's more fun than playing a video game? Writing one! Learn how to design, program, and problem solve while having fun. Developed by M.I.T., scratch is one of the most engaging ways to teach younger students to code. Students learn the basics of computer programming by arranging Lego-like blocks into lines of code in a drag & drop graphical interface. We will work through small engaging projects, and in the end, use our skills to create an interactive game to take home. Please bring a USB drive, snack and drink. Please register using grade for 2018/19 school year.
