Planetarium: "Space Shapes" (3 Years-Gr.3/Adult)

2024 Winter Preschool

*This is a daytime show from 10:30am to 11:40am.* - Join us as we look at the shapes of the things on Earth, the lines between stars in constellations, and shapes in our Solar System, and in our universe! We will also tour our Earth, our Moon, and a few other planets and moons, and we’ll see what shape the Milky Way is! Suggested ages 3y/o - 3rd grade. Please enter through door #6 at Mayo High School. (School will be in session during this presentation.)  Please register each person that is attending. A parent/adult must register and attend with the child.

Ben Joslin

Ben Joslin is the Director of Rochester Public School’s Planetarium at Mayo High School. He graduated with a degree in science from the University of Arizona and has a graduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has taught Astronomy and Earth and Planetary Physics in the district for the last 6 years, and has been teaching science and math since 2005.
