  • Sunshine and Roses: Step-By-Step Canvas Painting (Ages 3 & Up)

    Join Sunshine and Roses Traveling Art Studio to paint and create on canvas. Classes are open to 3 and up (adults too), and you do not need any painting experience! Ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Choose Class 1, 2 or both! Each class includes an 11x14 canvas, all supplies, and step-by-step instructions. ** Classes are back to back, and students taking both classes will stay in the room in between times. Additional Course Information: Minnesota, Land of 10,000 Snowflakes: Join us to create and paint a Minnesota-themed canvas masterpiece! The Minnesota outline will be pre-sketched on each canvas for participants. No experience necessary, just bring a fun attitude and a smile! Hooty: Hooty is back! Many of you have painted Hooty in the past—he’s been “famous” at Sunshine and Roses for 12 years! I think it’s time to bring back the close-up version of Hooty this year! Hooty has even made appearances at multiple county fairs! This time, we’ll be painting Hooty perched on a tree with a beautiful GLITTERY (yes, glitter!) background. Turtles!: Glitter! So much glitter in the water — it just sparkles! Join us to create your very own turtle family! No experience necessary, just bring your creativity and get ready for some sparkly fun. Kids can even add extra turtles to represent their own family if they choose! Zebby The Zebra: Zebby is making his debut! He’s a super fun character to paint, and his real yarn mane completes the look. Each background will be unique to the artist with lots of colors to choose from!

    Join Team USA Table Tennis Coach Qi Wei as he teaches you the fundamentals of table tennis. Students will learn stroke fundamentals, develop footwork, game strategies, shot selection, and specialty skills. Table tennis is not only fun but helps to improve hand-eye coordination, mental awareness, reflexes, and core muscles. It will keep your mind sharp and it's easy on the joints! They'll also do fun Nintendo-inspired challenges and create themed video games while waiting for the prints to finish. One to two student-designed projects will be printed and sent home.
