  • Experience "STAR WARS" Under the Dome!!

The last story in the STAR WARS saga is due to premiere on December 20, 2019. How fun would it be to watch the entire saga on a big screen leading up to the final episode!? Join us at the Mayo High School Planetarium every other week to watch all ten of the movies with other STAR WARS fans. Introduce your children to incredible worlds and fantastic characters in a galaxy far, far away (children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult). The movies will be huge and the soundtracks will be loud. Costumes are encouraged. Enter your name in a drawing to win Darth Vader’s Tie Fighter and one other ship from the STAR WARS stories (brand new, still in the box, from the 1990’s); the more episodes you attend, the more times your name goes in the jar (one entry per visit). The drawing will be held at the end of the last episode. If you want movie snacks, you are allowed to bring popcorn (LIGHTLY buttered, NO cheesy popcorn) and bottled water to drink. Please, no gooey snacks or sugary/syrupy drinks; these are special circumstances and we need to keep the planetarium as clean as we can. Please enter through door #6 on the south side of Mayo High School. Seating begins 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
