Summer Trips for Franklin, Gage, and Sunset
With Star Wars Day coming soon (May the 4th be with you), join us to celebrate Star Wars by watching Episode 5: “The Empire Strikes Back”! This movie was originally released in 1980 and follows the continuing adventures of rebels Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo (and others!) as they fight against The Empire, led by Darth Vader. Jedi master Yoda says “See this, you will!” And as always, may the force be with you! Suggested ages 6 and up. It starts at 6:15pm. Please enter through door #6 at Mayo High School.
Ben Joslin is the Director of Rochester Public School’s Planetarium at Mayo High School. He graduated with a degree in science from the University of Arizona and has a graduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has taught Astronomy and Earth and Planetary Physics in the district for the last 6 years, and has been teaching science and math since 2005.
