What is the STEM Fair?
The Rochester Regional STEM Fair is an event where students in grades 6-12 can showcase science and engineering projects. Prior to the event, students find a question or problem that interests them. They build prototypes or conduct experiments, sharing what they learned with their peers. The STEM Fair supports year round programming for youth with an emphasis on mentorship and community engagement.

Who are the Friends of the STEM Fair?
Friends of the STEM Fair is a team of adults who volunteer their time to support the students, science teachers, and volunteers who participate in the STEM Fair. They help with the behind-the-scenes work that makes these experiences possible, including event planning, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising. Meeting Schedule
February 2024 - Prepare for the Rochester Regional STEM Fair. Of the entire year, this is the time when the most help is needed.
March 2024 - Prepare for the Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair
April 2024 - End-of-year review and sponsor recognition. Look forward to next year: 8th-to-9th grade transition, expanded mentorship opportunities, stategies for donor and volunteer recruitment
