Summer Trips for Franklin, Gage, and Sunset
Are you concerned about climate change? Is this concern causing anxiety, fear, anger, or confusion? And are these feelings affecting your daily life, or ability to make meaning or take action? You’re not alone! More and more people are experiencing “eco-anxiety” and “eco-grief” but don’t have the right skills or knowledge to cope. In this practical, hands-on, engaging, and fun 90-minute workshop, you will begin to gain those skills and knowledge. You’ll also get answers to the following questions: What is stress? What is trauma? Who suffers from trauma? What’s the basic, relevant science on the human stress response? What are the 8 different human responses to stress? What is the “ecological perspective” on stress and trauma, and why is it important? What are some tools and takeaways I can put into action?
Susana Rinderle, MA, PCC is a writer, poet, transformational life & leadership coach, and trauma-informed resilience practitioner. Her first career was in diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and leadership development, where she spent nearly 30 years garnering meaningful results for employers and clients across the U.S. and abroad in multiple sectors. Susana has been coaching for 12 years and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and ICF Mentor Coach, and she trains other coaches to be trauma-informed. She is a Certified Facilitator of The Resilience Toolkit, a body-focused, trauma-informed, social justice-oriented modality. Her own life has been transformed since she began practicing The Toolkit in January 2019, and she has taught them to hundreds of people in multiple walks of life in eight countries.
