The study of our universe is as old as time, yet our understanding of its origins and nature is less than 100 years old. This fulldome planetarium program provides an overview of the science of cosmology. From humanity's earliest theories about the size of the universe to the Big Bang theory, this show explores how our understanding has evolved over time. Suggested ages 12+.
Ben Joslin is the Director of Rochester Public School’s Planetarium at Mayo High School. He graduated with a degree in science from the University of Arizona and has a graduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has taught Astronomy and Earth and Planetary Physics in the district for the last 6 years, and has been teaching science and math since 2005.
