Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
In this class, we introduce students to programming concepts using Scratch. Scratch is a drag-and-drop creative coding platform developed by MIT. Students will be instructed to make a Mario Kart-style game and then select custom characters and tracks to personalize their games. You will receive an email (be sure to check Spam folder) about a week prior to the class which will include the online code.
Home Technical Requirements:Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. Chromebooks, tablets, and phones DO NOT work.Internet: Broadband Webcam, microphone, and speakersZoom installed on computer - Zoom link will be sent before class
Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard.
