2025 Welch Ski Club (Coach Bus) & (Optional Rental) (Gr. 5-12)Ski ClubVolunteers We are always in need of chaperones. If you are interested in being a new or returning chaperone, please register yourself below in the course section labeled "5600.VOLUNTEERS". You will be prompted to complete a background check if you are a new volunteer. Registration for students has closed. About Ski Club Every year, almost 400 students from Rochester and the surrounding area travel to Welch Village Ski & Snowboard Area as part of Rochester Community Education Ski Club. Students who register for Ski Club receive coach bus transportation to and from Welch Village. Many students tell us that Ski Club is one of their favorite parts of the school year and that they love the freedom to explore Welch Village with their friends. Ski Club does not include formal lessons. Students are expected to choose runs that are appropriate for their experience level. Prior to the start of Ski Club, your school's Ski Club Advisor will reach out with more information. 2025 Ski Club Schedule Six Fridays: 1/3, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7 Possible make-up day on 2/14 For Rochester Public Schools students: 1/3 is during Winter Break. 1/24 is a no school day. Ski Club will take place on both days. Registration Register by finding your school below. Space is limited, and registration is handled first come first served. Please use the waiting list to help us accomodate as many students as possible. There is no cost to being on the waiting list, and Community Education staff will contact you if a space opens. The scholarship program is intended to promote positive mental and physical health by enabling youth to ski and snowboard who could not otherwise do so because of financial barriers. A limited number of scholarships are available, ranging in value from from $100 to $750. This can help cover the Ski Club registration fee, rental costs, and ski pass purchase. Some students may receive additional support acquring winter clothing, meals, and other supplies. Applying for a scholarship reserves your place in line. Please do NOT pay for Ski Club registration and then request a scholarship. If you are applying for the scholarship, make sure you select the "$0 Scholarship Application" price.
