American Sign LanguageWant to learn basic American Sign Language skills for communicating with deaf and hard of hearing people? Expressive and receptive skills will be developed in vocabulary, finger spelling, and number concepts. Storytelling concepts, as well as translating music, will be added to this class. Focus will be on the use of ASL signs and concepts following English word order. No textbook required, handouts will be provided.

Join us and build on the fundamentals (from the Adult Community Education ASL 1 class or other experience). Our focus will be on numbers, fingerspelling, and vocabulary. American Sign Language (ASL) is the native language of both teachers. Come ready to enhance your receptive and expressive skills. Handouts of materials used for the class will be provided.
