Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
Have you always been interested in the craft of writing novels, memoirs, and short stories? Are you curious to know how successful authors create such wonderful, compelling stories? The entire workshop is broken into four-week sessions. Each series of classes is self-contained. Take one, or all four over the course of a school year. Students will read, critique, and discuss each other’s stories written from prompts (examples from famous authors) on topics including setting, dialogue, characterization, voice, style, and revision.
Stephen earned his MFA in Creative Writing from the Solstice Program at Pine Manor College. He also attended the Writers Studio (Tucson) for 2.5 years and earned his certification from the American Medical Writers Association. To support his writing, he's begun teaching workshops for aspiring writers. As for publications, his short story “Brodie and Nico” was published in Quintessence: Solstice MFA Anthology 2018.
