Starting Seeds Indoors for the Outdoor Garden

Adult Enrichment / Sustainability -
2026 Adult Winter/Spring Catalog

In this class, participants will learn the art of starting seeds indoors. This includes understanding the necessary equipment, when to transplant into larger pots, where to source heirloom and open-pollinated seeds, and how to harden off your plants in preparation for outdoor planting. We will also discuss which seeds are best for starting indoors and which are ideal for direct planting in the garden. The class will feature a question-and-answer session, and each participant will leave with their very own seed starting kit.
