Jams and Jellies from Garden Blossoms

Adult Enrichment / Sustainability -
2026 Adult Winter/Spring Catalog

Many of the flowers we grown in our yards make wonderful jams and jellies. This class will help you select the best edible flowers, show how the flowers need to be collected, and provide the making details and recipes for wonderful homemade and home canned jams and jellies. This combination presentation of PowerPoint, hands on demos, and handouts will show cooks how to make wonderful jams and jellies from flower and herb gardens or wild foraged plants. Samples of flower jellies will be shared with the class. Recipes included. Ball Home Canning Corp will provide some free items to be shared with the students.
