Parent Sign Language Group (0-5 Years)Parent Sign Language Group offers an opportunity for parents of young children with or without disabilities or hearing loss, to get together and learn some American Sign Language vocabulary and to practice sign language with other parents through group activities and conversation. The last portion of each class will involve parents and children together in a sign language activity, allowing parents to try new sign language skills with their children. We will meet monthly from September through December, and you can register for one class or all four. This is a beginning level class.
Parenting a Child with Spirited or Challenging Behaviors (2-5 years)This class will help you understand your young child's behavior and temperament while discovering positive behavior management and parenting strategies. Parents will complete a simple questionnaire to identify need before registration is complete. Referrals are welcome. Class begins with PACT* followed by a separate parent discussion.
