Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
In this class we introduce students’ programming concepts using Scratch. Scratch is a drag-and-drop creative coding platform developed by MIT. Students will be instructed to make a Mario Kart-style game and then pick characters and track to customize their games.
Home Technical Requirements For All Classes:
● Computer: PC (Windows 7 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. Chromebooks, tablets, and phones typically DO NOT Work.● Internet: Broadband internet● Webcam ● Microphone and speakers● Zoom installed on computer● Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse and keyboard.Additional Technical Requirement:● Scratch and Scratch account – Instructions will be emailed
