Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
We will work to support the Village Agricultural Cooperative through a series of gardening service projects. The organization connects people from many cultures who come together to grow food locally in our community. It is not necessary to attend all dates.
How to Participate
Youth: Registration is optional, but encouraged. Show up at the event. If you feel comfortable, please register in advance using the Youth "Enroll Now" button on this page. This is the best way to receive announcements about future programs for LGBTQ+ youth.
Volunteers: Register using the Volunteer "Enroll Now" button on this page. If you haven't recently completed a background check for Rochester Public Schools, please follow the instructions to do so. Thank you to all of our volunteers. Your stories and presence are treasured.
What to Bring
Please wear close toed shoes. We also recommend the you bring these: work gloves, sunscreen, water, snacks, jeans or other comfortable pants.
This is one of many events for LGBTQ+ youth that will be hosted this summer by Rochester Community Education and partnering organizations. Activities are open to all youth entering grades 6-12 who identify as LGBTQ+ or allies.
