Healthy breathing is essential for our overall well-being; however, improving our ingrained breathing habits can be challenging, as they reflect our current state of body, mind, and spirit. Instead of short-term conscious breathing techniques, we teach you how to naturally transition to lower belly diaphragmatic breathing, which can be reflected in your everyday life. This is an introductory program to the renown Seokmun-Hoheup [suk-moon-ho-who(b)] breathing practice. Bring your mat.

Paul Min, PhD

Dr. Paul Min, Ph.D., is an associate professor in radiology and a neuroscientist. At the age of 25, he encountered the Seokmun-Hoheup breathing practice while searching for practical methods to develop one’s true potential. His research also explores how breathing impacts brain health, particularly in relation to oxygen and energy delivery as well as waste removal in the brain.
