Are you interested in living more sustainably but unsure where to start? This course will provide a better understanding of the means and methods for achieving a sustainable lifestyle, beginning with your home and diet, and covering ideas for earth-friendly transportation, cleaning, and purchasing. Additionally, the course will offer an overview of online tools and resources, as well as specific options available in Rochester, to help you make environmentally friendly decisions. This event is sponsored by EarthFest and Destination Medical Center.

Lauren Jensen

Lauren Jensen has spent the past seven years in the field of sustainability with experience in both the nonprofit and local government sectors. Most recently she spent four years as the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Rochester. She currently work at Destination Medical Center (DMC) as their Energy & Sustainability Manager, developing strategies and implementation tactics that connect environmental sustainability goals to equitable human health - focusing on buildings, transportation, and public realm. She works to create a culture of sustainability in Rochester, collaborating with a variety of partners to build capacity and develop communities that are truly sustainable for all.
