Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
Open to students who completed the beginner's course, this class allows participants to continue building their skills in Asian brush painting. Students attempt to capture chi on the page, boost their confidence as an artist, and create beautiful paintings to take home. Each brushstroke on the page will convey the essence of the subject and foster mindfulness. Please remember to bring your supplies from your beginners course - including brushes, ink, and rice paper. Prerequisite: Asian Brush Painting: Beginner.
A $25 supply fee will be collected the first night for all required supplies (2 brushes, ink, 60 sheets of rice paper) unless you already have them. Cash or Check only.
Catherine studied with well-known master teachers in Seoul, Korea; Beijing, China; and Toronto, Canada. She met famous masters and has studied for over 30 years (since 1987). She is very active with Art organizations like National Sumi-e society, MN chapter Ming Chiao. In fact, she participated in founding the MN chapter of Ming Chiao in Rochester. She shows her work broadly and locally, she is currently showing at Gallery 24.
