Did you know our telescopes can see things far away and also see things as they were a long time ago? For most of us, the universe extends to the limits revealed by our human eyes, but in the last 100 years, the night sky our eyes see is no longer the limit - it is only the beginning! Join us as we leave Earth and fly out into space to see what is far out there, and what was a long, long time ago. Suggested ages 8 and up.

Ben Joslin is the Director of Rochester Public School’s Planetarium at Mayo High School. He graduated with a degree in science from the University of Arizona and has a graduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has taught Astronomy and Earth and Planetary Physics in the district for the last 6 years, and has been teaching science and math since 2005.
