Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
Have you ever sat outside and just watched the clouds? They are amazing structures that move, grow, and tell us a lot about nature. Join us as we look at and discuss the wide variety of Earth’s clouds, then blast off into space to look at real pictures of clouds and atmospheres on other planets and moons, and finally, examine real pictures of clouds in deep space (nebulae). It will be a gas! Suggested ages 6 and up. Please enter through door #6 at Mayo High School.
Ben Joslin is the Director of Rochester Public School’s Planetarium at Mayo High School. He graduated with a degree in science from the University of Arizona and has a graduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has taught Astronomy and Earth and Planetary Physics in the district for the last 6 years, and has been teaching science and math since 2005.
