Make Your Health Care Decision, and Learn Why It’s So Important

Adult Enrichment / Finances -
2025 Adult Winter/Spring Catalog

National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD) is a nationwide initiative that happens every April to encourage adults to plan for potential health emergencies. Learn why advance care planning is important. Class includes completing an Advance or Healthcare Directive (also known as a living will) and appointing a healthcare power of attorney—someone to make healthcare decisions for you if you are unable to speak for yourself. Most importantly, share your decisions with your family and loved ones.

In the first class, Deah will introduce advance care planning, explain why it matters, and provide a variety of Healthcare Directive options for you to choose from. In the second class, you will refine your choices, make decisions, and complete your paperwork in time for NHDD.
