Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
Join us as we take a look at our Moon’s geology, phases, history, and its effect on Earth. Then, we will get prepared for the upcoming Total Lunar Eclipse on the evening of March 13th. Finally, we will jump to several of the other interesting and awe-inspiring moons in our solar system and discuss humankind’s future journey to these moons. Suggested ages 8 and up.

Ben Joslin is the Director of Rochester Public School’s Planetarium at Mayo High School. He graduated with a degree in science from the University of Arizona and has a graduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has taught Astronomy and Earth and Planetary Physics in the district for the last 6 years, and has been teaching science and math since 2005.
