Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
Join us for a fun class twisting wire into organic shapes to make your very own Tree of Life Suncatcher. This class includes instruction on choosing the right materials and tools and wire wrapping techniques. To accent your suncatcher, you will have a selection of beads and crystals to choose from. You will get to take home a suncatcher that is 8-12 inches long and 6 inches wide.
Amrita Prakaashana (pronouns: she/her) is a Rochester MN based artist with over 20 years of experience creating with metal and collaborating with others to teach, learn, and create art. A big part of Amrita's identity is her creativity and she founded Artria Jewelry to design and handcraft wearable art that is sustainable and accessible to all. Her art is inspired by her Indian heritage, elements of nature, her exposure to global cultures, and the world around her. Over the years, she has taught several classes and believes everyone is creative, one just has to find their own mode of expression.
