STORYBOOK THEATRE
Once upon a time... we put on a show! Welcome to Storybook Theatre where we take classic fairytales and put a fun twist on them, and then you get to act them out! Do you love acting, singing, and dancing? Then Storybook Theatre will surely be a great fit for you! In just one week we'll put together a whole musical, and you get to be one of the stars! Come have a wondrous week with Storybook Theatre!
THE LITTLE MERMAID
Pearl has it all in the depths of the ocean. As the youngest daughter of King Triton and Queen Scylla, she should be perfectly content… but she dreams about the surface world. She wonders what it would be like to walk on the land and be amongst its people. When she saves a young rock star from sleeping with the fishes, she realizes she will do whatever it takes to leave the underwater kingdom behind.
PLEASE NOTE: Auditions will be held on Monday, July 7th starting at 12:15 PM but may finish before 4:30 PM. Rehearsal will be held Tuesday-Friday. Times will vary depending on the participant's role. Schedules will be handed out to students after roles are assigned. Performances will be held on Friday, July 11th at 6:30 PM and Saturday, July 12th at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. To participate in this theatre camp, students MUST be available at all scheduled times. All participating students will have a role in this performance. No refunds will be processed after auditions.
