Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
Would you like to learn how to ride a bike safely to and from school? As a means of transportation during the summer? Would you enjoy learning the mechanics and engineering to fix your own bike? How about earning a free bike (if you don’t have one to ride)? Learn some new trails to ride with friends and maybe grow to learn mountain biking techniques?
We will meet once a week with the first three meetings consisting of street safety, bike preparation, and simple fix-it techniques so you can be self-sufficient, followed by three weeks of progressively longer group bike rides. No experience necessary. All tools provided. Everyone grades 6-8 welcome. Participation essential!
No Bike? No problem! We Bike Rochester will offer students a chance to earn a tuned-up bike they can keep after the six-week class is completed.
