Take your pottery to a new level. Altered pottery allows the artist to manipulate and transform basic thrown forms into unique shapes and textures. Explore how altering pots can bring new creativity to your wheel thrown pieces. In this class you will be learning a different technique each week to transform your wheel thrown pottery into something unexpected. This is an intermediate wheel throwing class. Participants should be able to center 3-4 lbs. of clay, throw a nice 5” tall cylinder, and throw a 3lb. bowl. Please note you will be using practice clay. If you want to make a piece and keep it you, will need to purchase clay. Please look online for more 125 LIVE classes.
