Learn about different approaches you can take to improve personal happiness. For people over 55 years of age. Attend one or attend them all for free. Led by Sheila Walsh, Exercise Physiologist and experienced yoga instructor of 17 years.

Dates: 11/3/25 - Why Not Now - Presentation

Self-reflect on what motivates you, what your purpose is, and where you find pride. With every person experiencing common and not-so-common challenges, we will review how beneficial it is for our bodies, minds, and pocketbooks to be proud of ourselves.

11/10/25 – Chair Yoga

Chair yoga provides a large range of benefits including stress reduction, bone health, flexibility, and focus. Participants can perform exercises while sitting in, or standing next to a chair.

11/17/25 – Meditation and Types of Stress

Many forms of stress can affect us. We should not expect our minds and bodies to manage them the same way. Understanding different stressors is the first step of the best management techniques. End the class with some simple meditation suggestions.

11/24/25 – Floor Yoga and Deep Breathing

Relax with guided breathing and stretches. Many people enjoy the benefits of doing yoga from the floor but avoid it because of the challenges that come with getting up and down multiple times. In this class, participants get on the floor at the beginning and remain on the floor until class is over. **You must be able to get off the floor independently to participate.** For ages 55+
