Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
This nature walk will take place in the scenic Lowertown Neighborhood, beginning at Goose Egg Park. You will learn about plants native to Minnesota and "seed bombing," a practice that can be used for environmental restoration. Please bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Outdoor Location
We are moving outdoors for the summer and will utilize the new outdoor classroom that lies between Goose Egg Park and the Northrop Community Education Center. Please note that the Northrop parking lot will be under construction and will not be available.
This event will take place rain or shine, except in case of severe weather. The outdoor classroom is covered and offers some protection from the elements. If needed, we have the option to move indoors.
LGBTQ+ Youth Summer Calendar
This event is part of a summer event series open to all youth entering grades 6-12. These events are hosted by Rochester Community Education and partnering organizations to promote the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ youth.
Registration is optional but encouraged. This is the best way to receive information about future events.
