Summer Trips for Riverside, Overland, and Sunset Terrace
Come view the night as it appears from Rochester, Minnesota. We will tour tonight’s constellations, as well as learn tricks, tips, and secrets for following the stars all year long. We’ll also learn how to navigate using the stars, tell time using the stars, and follow the seasons using the stars. Then, we’ll take a trip into the universe! Come see what you’ve been missing every night! Suggested ages 8 and up.

Ben Joslin is the Director of Rochester Public School’s Planetarium at Mayo High School. He graduated with a degree in science education from the University of Arizona and has a graduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has been teaching Earth and Space science since 2005, and has been the planetarium director since 2022.
