Volunteer Opportunities with Community Education
Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are invited to attend a dinner and workshop with their preteens and teens! We all know that social media and excessive phone use is a major concern for children and adults alike. Join us for a discussion to understand the current social media landscape, learn about qualitative data and insights gleaned from Dr. Margaret's classroom experiences, and to participate in a values determination activity. We’ll also explore and practice opportunities to use media to engage youth in healthy, productive and prosocial ways. There will be time for a Q&A session as well. Join us for a night of insightful discussion, humor, and a buffet dinner with your kids!
Dinner will be served promptly at 5:30 PM - please arrive early, if possible.
