    Age Group Classes are grouped by specific developmental ages and stages. The age group cohorts allow us to focus activities and conversations on your child's current developmental milestones. Each class offers the ECFE class experience including parent and child time (PACT) followed by children's learning and play time as well as parent discussion. Sibling care is available where listed. 
  • Classes with Kits

    Need new ideas to engage your curious child(ren) at home? Your family will enjoy, exploring, investigating, and experimenting with our at home lessons. There will be video lessons and activities each week. These classes will have a one-time material pick-up prior to the start of class. Come explore with us! These are at-home/online courses.
  • Focus Classes

    Each Class offers the ECFE experience including PACT followed by children's learning and play time and a parent discussion. Parents move to a separate room for discussion. Child care is available.

    You've got parenting questions? We have information and support. Take our online classes from any device that can connect to the internet. All classes are readily available through Google Meets. 
  • Play with Purpose

    Discover learning through your child's eyes in these parent and child classes. Parents will enjoy circle time, themed play, songs, and stories with the children. See class descriptions for information about separation. Nannies welcome where indicated. 
  • Preschool Age Child Care

    Preschool Age Child Care Program (PACC) is a extended day care option for enrolled RPS Preschool students. PACC provides a variety or developmentally-appropriate activities which will help your child practice new skills learned during their preschool day. 2024-2025 School Year Contract (August-June) PACC is currently off line please contact the SACC/PACC office 328-4040 to be added PACC CONTRACTS INCLUDE: CHOOSE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE (1 session required/contract) DROP-IN DAYS (Under 7-day notice) PACC is not available on non-school days, school breaks or during inclement weather school closings.   • School Age Child Care

    The School Age Child Care Program is available at all Rochester Public Schools Elementary sites. The program provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can feel they are significant and they belong. Our goal of the School Age Child Care Program is to provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities including arts/crafts, STEAM activities, self-directed play, field trips, library, tech time, physical activities (indoor/outdoor), community service, and to offer an environment where homework is encouraged.   • School Age Child Care / Field Trips

    You can register for Trips for the following sites (School Year; Bamber Valley, and Northrop). (Summer Trips are at Overland, Riverside, and Sunset Terrace.) They will be open and available a month in advance.

    If you click on the summer site it will give you the list of trips for the entire summer. You can register for them when the trips are open and available.
  • Support Groups

    Support groups are a gathering of people with common experiences or concerns who provide each other with encouragement, comfort, advice and support. Each class offers the ECFE class experience including parent and child time (PACT) followed by children's learning and play time and a parent discussion. Parents move to a separate room for a parent discussion. No fee, however registration is required. Child care is available.

    Made to fit your schedule! Attend one class or all of the classes with our flexible "week by week" registration. Each class offers the ECFE class experience including parent and child time (PACT). Parent discussion also included. See class descriptions for information about separation.

    Age Group Classes are grouped by specific developmental ages and stages. The age group cohorts allow us to focus activities and conversations on your child's current developmental milestones. Each class offers the ECFE class experience including parent and child time (PACT) followed by children's learning and play time as well as parent discussion. Open registration begins in the fall followed by priority registration for our winter and spring sessions, allowing the group participants to remain together for the entire school year. New participants are welcome to register if space is available.
