    ABOUT EPIYAC The E- cigarette Prevention Initiative Youth Action Council (EPIYAC) is a group made up of middle school youth across Olmsted County. Our goal is to reduce youth vaping in Minnesota by 25% by 2026. We provide community education, host fun events (like this one) advocate for health, and provide quit resources for youth who want to stop vaping.

  • John Adams Boys Basketball Skills & Drills Camp (Gr. 6-8)

    Fun for Everyone! Please sign up if you want to improve your foundational skills! Community Education sports are open to all students regardless of previous experience. We focus on gameplay, teamwork, understanding of rules, and knowledge of basic positions. Learn fundamental skills and apply them during games against your friends. Any student can attend on the first day of practice to learn more about this activity even if they have not registered yet. Financial Assistance Families with financial need can request that the fee be waived for this activity.   • John Adams Boys Outdoor Soccer (Gr. 6-8)

    Fun for Everyone John Adams Soccer is open to all students regardless of previous experience. We focus on gameplay, teamwork, understanding of rules, and knowledge of basic positions. Our season will consist of weekly practices and will conclude with a final competition. Equipment Students are expected to bring their own shin guards and socks. Acceptable footwear: tennis shoes or soccer cleats. Unacceptable footwear: crocs or open-toed shoes.   • John Adams Drone Club (Gr. 6-8)

    In the Drone Racing STEM Club, we will learn how to fly FPV (first person view) drones by first using a simulator and then working our way to flying the fpv drones. Once you can complete several flying challenges with the drones, you can then start racing the drones through a course that we create utilizing 3D printing technology, electronics, and our collective creativity.
  • John Adams Dungeons & Dragons (Gr. 6-8)

    Game On! Dungeons and Dragons Club is a place where students will play a cooperative, tabletop storytelling adventure game. Students will uncover mysteries, face dangers, and explore fantasy lands as they work together to weave an original story.
