Let's make my great-grandmother's applesauce. To this day I still think it is the best applesauce in the whole wide world. Class will include a discussion of the tools and ingredients needed to make this fall staple, as well as a demonstration on canning in a water bath for long term storage. Each participant will go home with their own applesauce sample.
Raechel Murphy is a long-time gardener, seed saver, and recent homesteader. Her farm, Chosen Valley Heritage Farm, has a mission to pass on traditions, knowledge, and skills through the generations.
