Community Education - Rochester, Minnesota

Coaches from the Rochester Nordic Ski Team will provide Nordic group ski lessons, games, and movement exercises to help young skiers learn and enjoy the sport of cross-country skiing! All classes will be held at Quarry Hill Nature Center. Please watch for signage to direct you where to go. Location may be moved to Gamehaven Park, if necessary, based on snow conditions. Skiers must dress appropriately for the weather, as we will be outside skiing for the duration of each class. Skiers must bring their own equipment (skis, boots, and poles appropriately sized to the skier) or plan to rent equipment from Tyrol Ski & Sports or Quarry Hill prior to the start of each lesson. Join us as we enjoy the Minnesota winter and learn a sport to last a lifetime! We will start on snow the first day. After a brief introduction for parents, skiers will be grouped with others of similar experience.
